Using the Web Counter

Count.cgi, by Muhammad Muquit, is installed on Osiris. Full documentation available. You can put a web counter on your page (normally you'd do this in index.html), as an image. It is actually a program, that stores the count in "your" .dat file, hidden from you, so you can't falsify the count. Please use your account code in the file name, and make sure the initial count is low, typically 1-3, so you are not "sharing" a counter with someone else. I will write "myacct" in the code example:
<img src="http://osiris.ubishops.ca/cgi-bin/Count.cgi?df=myacct.dat&ft=5&dd=B"
alt="Web counter unavailable" align="absmiddle">
ft is the frame thickness, dd is the style, these styles are available:
A Web counter unavailable ft=5

B Web counter unavailable ft=4

C Web counter unavailable ft=3

D Web counter unavailable ft=2

E Web counter unavailable ft=1 Web counter unavailable ft=7
