Textbook

Cay S. Horstmann and Timothy Budd, Big C++, John Wiley & Sons, 2004. Available at the campus bookstore. ISBN 0-471-47063-5.

The textbook is marked as optional. The meaning of this is that any reasonable C++ textbook will do (see the next section for some suggestions). In principle, such a textbook combined with my lectures should be enough, as this is a programming course and so not really about memorizing texts.
