HTML is written in a plain-text editor. A web browser then renders it in a nice form that fits whatever medium (scren or paper) is to display it. The files involved can be found here, You can always view the HTML source with ctrl-U (view source).
I include an image in this file, and upload it to a server, as you will be doing in Lab 2.
If you are a Mac or linux user, this is done using scp on a command line.
However, if you are a windows user, you will need to use WinSCP, which is installed on Bishop's lab
computers.
Otherwise, you will have to download it, as I had to on the computer I use for recording these videos. Shahn Nadeau of ITS has made a video of how to do this, and provided these links in it, for me and you.

A tree too big to embrace grows from a slender shoot. A thousand mile journey begins with a single step. People commonly ruin their work when they are near success. Proceed at the end as at the beginning and your work won't be ruined. -- Lao-Tzu
This day I realized my existing slideshow was to complex, so I developed a new one that uses setInterval(). You can watch me make mistakes and get help from the students in attendance. In the end, it worked except tor the STOP button, because I wrote
<button onClick="clearInterval('changer')"> STOP!</button> BAD <button onClick="clearInterval(changer)"> STOP!</button> GOOD
You see, 'changer' is just a string of 5 letters, NOT the variable that was created to identify the interval.
