Grading will be based on assignments (20%), one mid-term examination (30%), and one final examination (50%). There will be (approximately) four assignments. The mid-term examination is scheduled tentatively in the seventh week of the term.
All the written examinations will be open book, meaning that you can bring with you any documentation you like. Documentation sharing is however not allowed.
You can collaborate in doing your assignments in groups of no more than two persons. All the collaborators must be named and must be currently taking the course.
Should you require special accommodations because of a disability, please come and discuss this with me at the begining of the term. I will not take into consideration requests made on or after the day in which the first assignment is released. You must also contact the Student Accessibility & Accommodation Services to obtain authorization for any special arrangements.
